PRISMAdirect V1.7 and PRISMAprepare V7.3 License Update

Dear PRISMAdemo users,

The PRISMAdirect V1.7 and PRISMAprepare V7.3 demonstrators will be updated with new licenses on May 25, 2021.

This license update will not change the current versions of the applications, but it will affect your Saved Demonstrations.
If you have Saved Demonstrations of PRISMAdirect V1.7 and PRISMAprepare V7.3, please be aware that they will remain accessible within the next 30 days after the license update. However, you cannot start the applications anymore after June 1, 2021, because the license of both products will expire on that date.

You can save a new demo after the license update and migrate the settings of your old saved demo to the new one. You can do it within the 30-day period.
• For PRISMAdirect (only applicable for CUSA and CEL users), please see the guide for managing your saved demonstrations in the Resources page – PRISMAdirect – PRISMAdirect Training Resources – Demo Guide.
• For PRISMAprepare, if you have saved your personal demo files in your saved demonstration session, you can transfer them to your new saved demonstration.

Please note that all the PRISMAdirect and PRISMAprepare Saved Demonstrations that are created before this upcoming license update will be deleted after 30 days from May 25th.

PRISMAsync C10010 V8.1 Demonstrator is Coming Soon!

Dear PRISMAdemo users,

The PRISMAsync C10010 V8.1 demonstrator will be available soon. Please see the release schedule in the below.
• Canon USA and Canon Korea: live on May 3, 2021.
• Canon China: live on June 28, 2021
• Canon Europe and Canon Marketing Japan: to be decided (waiting for confirmation)

What will happen to the current PRISMAsync C10000 V7.4 demonstrator?
• As of May 3rd, the current PRISMAsync C10000 V7.4 demonstrator will remain active and available for Canon China, Europe and Japan regions. Users in these regions can use it as usual. However, please be aware that the quick start functionality will disappear. Therefore, we advise you to plan & schedule your demonstrations to avoid waiting time.
• Users in the US and Korea regions will NOT have the access to the default/standard C10000 V7.4 demonstrator anymore after May 3rd. They can however see and use their own saved demonstration.
• The PRISMAsync C10000 V7.4 demonstrator will be phased out when the new PRISMAsync C10010 V8.1 demonstrator has been activated for all the regions. Until that point, all the regions will have either regular access to the default/standard C10000 V7.4 demonstrator (in case the C10010 V8.1 is not yet being activated), or their own saved demonstrator (in case the C10010 V8.1 has been activated).

PRISMAdirect V1.7 demonstrator is available

Dear PRISMAdemo users,

PRISMAdirect demonstrators have been upgraded to the latest software version 1.7.

If you have Saved Demonstration based on the V1.6, please be aware that it will remain working in the next 30 days.  After that, it will be removed and is no longer accessible for you.

PRISMAdirect Demonstrator Update to V1.7 is Coming Soon!

The PRISMAdirect demonstrator will be updated to the version 1.7 on March 11, 2021.

After this update, we will stop the maintenance of the V1.6 demonstrators and PRISMAdirect 1.6 demonstration will no longer be available.

If you have Saved Demonstrations based on the V1.6, please be aware that they will remain working within the next 30 days after the update.  You can delete them and save a new one using the V1.7.  Please see the guide for managing your saved demonstrations in the Resources page – PRISMAdirect – PRISMAdirect Training Resources – Demo Guide.

Please note that all the PRISMAdirect 1.6-based Saved Demonstrations will be deleted after 30 days from the date of updating to PRISMAdirect 1.7.

PRISMAdemo V3.2 launch postponed!

Dear PRISMAdemo Users,

 

We have planned to launch the PRISMAdemo V3.2 on Tuesday November 24th.

We regret to inform you that the deployment of this new version has taken longer than planned due to unforeseen issues caused by Microsoft certificate update over the last weekend.

As a result, currently none of the PRISMA product demonstrators can start up properly.  The start-up behaviors of the demonstrators are not stable, regardless regular, saved or scheduled demonstration sessions.  Sometimes it starts all well, but sometimes it does not start at all.

We treat this problem seriously as it affects the user experience. Therefore, the launch of PRISMAdemo V3.2 will not be completed until this problem is resolved.

 

Our IT department is investigating the issues now. The plan is to have it resolved within the next 3 days.

We will publish another notification on PRISMAdemo by Thursday November 26 to inform all users about the progress of the PRISMAdemo V3.2 launch.

 

Meanwhile, the PRISMAdemo team will inform the users who have scheduled demo sessions in the coming 3 days to watch out the start-up problem. We strongly advise all users to not use the demonstrators or postpone the scheduled demonstrations until further notice this Thursday.
